access the Calendar server.

saying that my computer couldn't access the 
Calendar server.  I clicked "OK" and opened 
Outlook.  I am now unable to make changes to the 
calendar--I get this message:
"Unable to perform this operation.  Login to 
Calendar server failed."
 
What can I do differently when I open Outlook so 
that it is able to access the Calendar server?
