I have received notification from Steve Davies
(daviess01) that Service Request 17717 has not
yet been resolved. Can you provide me a status
report please? Included is a copy of the original
email sent to UCS for the service request by
Steve Davies - the issue affects the other listed
users as well.

I am a remote user trying to email from
ts7.wou.edu. Outlook will not launch completely.
It tries and fails to find the outlook.pst file.
If I try to make Thunderbird my default, the
error I receive is that I do not have permission
to write to the registry. The ability to email
from applications in my remote connection is
critical.

I apologize for the confusion; Thunderbird is
absolutely supported, in fact I wish everyone
would use it. I'll have Ronnie contact each of
them to set up Thunderbird and set it as the
default mail client. If for some reason
permission issues prevent her from getting it set
as the default mailer then Joe will be back
Monday and he should be able to fix that for them.
Thanks

Fire fox the window will not show up, I found out
why, on one of the old machines in the office I
pulled the site up on IE 6 the title of the page
changes to "Crystal Reports ActiveX viewer"
however the result is still the same.

IE 7 will bark whenever the cert does not match.
If it doesn't say anything for one way...just have
them use that...

Hey sorry to bother you but you seem to be the
only one that knows anything about this, Ron and I
are trying to solve an issue you may have solved
before so I was gonna check with you.

The security certificate presented by this website
was issued for a different website's address

This happens in IE 7

This is from https://winchester

but https://winchester.wou.edu doesn't produce
this.... but Donna said that other issues were
resolved when you changed it to winchester/....

Screen shot of the printing problem (Attached)

Thanks,

put that in it no longer comes up with the
certificate errors, however they still cannot print.

Since the upgrade to internet explorer 7, the
users in the business office are unable to use
their online Campus Loan Manager software. An
error reading "There is a problem with this
website security certificate" appears. This is
causing work stoppage issues.
