It has been running for over 30 minutes now
without error.  Will leave it running.  (It is
setup on the extra desk by Brian, Mike and my desk
areas)  Please check it periodically and note if
it shuts down again.

just turned off, going to try to replecate the
previous error now

reseated heatsink (with new thermal paste).  It
boots up, I can log in, and I am running a virus
scan now.  It has been on for over 5 minutes
without problem now.  Will leave it on to see if
the problem returns at any point.  ((Also, most of
the thermal paste that was on the processor before
I opened it was gone.))

When she turns on her computer, it immediately 
turns off again. This has happened several times 
this morning, and she is unable to work.
