Went by. problem has apparently fixed itself. She
tried to open powerpoint files both directly and
through file->open and they worked just fine.

I did a recon, however she was not in her office. 
Dr. Turner (next door) did not know when she 
would be back.

User is able to open PowerPoint presentations 
through PowerPoint's file>open>browse window, 
gets error "disk not inserted." She is however 
able to open them by browsing through window's 
file explorer.
