he was using +R discs in a -RW drive.  Explained
that they don't work that way, but he could try
the TRC... they would be most likely to be able to
write to the discs he has.

It is telling him the D: is not reading. This is 
when he puts in a blank CD, but if he were to put 
in a used CD it plays it fine. Then he went to 
another computer to try it and it told him that 
he does nto have adminstrative access.  HE will 
be around most of the morning.
