Camila's out of the office until next week.
Whoever follows up with her next week (I won't be
in) may want to try the IEfix.exe app in the
T:\Utilities folder.

Joe said that we'd most likely need to ghost these
machines. Camila mentioned that she can't have
both gone at once because there are interns in all
break doing work on them, and that the computer
20020710[Edit Inv] has specific drivers for its scanner that
have to be reinstalled after a ghost of the machine.

Both machines have firefox installed and working
fine. However, IE still freezes up the machine
when launched. I'd tried reinstalling via the exe
on the T drive, but that didn't fix the problem. I
also set the page file to system managed instead
of 384MB. I believe that this was causing the
memory problems that Camila refered to. One of
these computers is constantly scanning large
documents and this may have led to a memory shortage.

She called back and said that she installed
Firefox on the computer that didn't have it, and
it is working. (20020710)But IE is still not
working on that on. Then the 20030726[Edit Inv] is fixed so
you don't have to worry about that one she said.

These are not laptops, they are work stations.
They are still having problems. You will need to
go to the reference desk to get access to that
room
