Thank you for the new mouse.  As soon as Mike left
the building, the DVD would not eject.  It is in
that configuration now, but I am leaving for the
day.  I will call in the morning about arranging
to get it fixed. kb

This is the email I sent to Dr. Brown.

Dr. Brown,

I've updated the ticket to note that I came over
and couldn't replicate the problem with the DVD
drive and changed out your mouse. I also noted
that if you contact us with the problem again that
the active duty tech should head over as soon as
possible to see if they can identify the problem.
The ticket number is 18188. Please be sure to
include this in your email or phone call as it
will allow the person helping you to add
information to the ticket quickly and to see the
old notes left by myself and other techs. In the
mean time I've closed the ticket. Hopefully, the
problem will not reoccur and this will all be
academic.

Couldn't replicate the problem. She said she'd
email us if it happened again. If she does contact
us again please go over as quickly as possible. I
couldn't replicate the problem and if it's NOT
user error then I'd like to get this resolved so
she doesn't have to deal with it.

I also replaced her mouse.

has two drives cd and DVD its the DVD drive having
issues, it will only eject on boot up.

My computer mouse has been sketchy for some 
time...doesn't scroll correctly, won't click 
every time I click it, and it's sort of getting 
worse...
 
But the real reason I am sending a note is that 
my DVD drive will not eject the disc.  This also 
has been an intermittant problem, but usually it 
gets over it.  Today seems to be different: I 
even tried the eject function on the right-click 
menu, but nothing is happening.
 
Please help?!
