Looks like it was svchost. Aside from the memory
error he mentioned he'd been having sound
problems. Joe's new login script seems to be
working though. he hadn't had any problems today
since he'd started the machine. I ran updates and
let the machine reboot and relog and it ran fine.
Closing ticket.

Debbie Diehm sent the following email:

Hello: this is about WOU#20030544[Edit Inv]
Gary Dukes' computer keeps giving him an error
message. It all started when the option came up
on the shut down to install updates and shut
down -- it never did shut down. His computer
has been working, but with problems. One error
message he keeps getting is: 'The instruction
at "0X745F2780" references memory at "0X00000000"
The memory could not be "read."'
Can you help, please. Dr. Dukes will be in his
office between 8-9, 11-12, or 1:30-3 today.
However, I could login for him too, if you only
have someone available between 9-10.
