I disabled the WMI service and I disabled the Dell
OpenManager software which was reporting the disk
capacity decrease. (Caused by removing external
hard drives.)

He called back and said that when he bypassed the 
first error message, he got another: "Could not 
be written" He said that this message was what 
was the problem last week.

He is able to use the machine but he recieved 
this message a couple of times last week so he is 
leaving it up on the screen so one of the techs 
can see it. He will be in this morning.
