The laptop is ready to deliver. Have her log in to
the network and her local account. Once those
profiles have been created, copy her data from her
old profiles located in c:\myersc_backup\

The wireless is now working and the machine
appears to be ready to deliver. Her data (local
and mash profiles) are located in c:\myersc_backup\.

Joe, 
Can you confirm that this machine is ready to
deliver? (ie. If you replaced the wireless card in
it, is that the permanent card?)

Checked wireless, it connected fine and I was able
to login to email.  I did not see the error msg
pop up and am not sure if that has been taken care
of yet.  Will wait to confirm with fellow tech.

It keeps getting a "Limited or no connectivity"
error for the wireless connection. I have tried
several things and I think the next step is to
re-image this laptop and hope for the best. I
understand this is her main machine so I'm going
to try and get in earlier tomorrow and finish this up.

I have called her and left a message explaining
the laptop's status on her voicemail. If she needs
the laptop before I am finished with it, it is on
my desk in the tech area. (The power adapter is
NOT hers.)

It sounds like Windows Defender's on the fritz. It
probably needs to be updated or deleted.

I called her back and left a VM requesting that
she give us a call back when she's in the office.

She called saying no one had seen to her issue.
She sees this as a high priority as she cannot
properly prepare to give her lectures. She was
trying to print out material for her class and is
unable to do so.

To All Wireless Users:

Wireless authentication updating will occur
December 27-29, 2006.  Wireless may not be
available for these three days.  Once the change
is complete new steps will need to occur on each
wireless computer the first time you connect to
wireless.  Ron will send out a FAQ in the next few
days detailing the new authentication process.

She is in her office tomorrow (Thursday) 9:30a - 
12p, she is leaving by 3p. The dept secretary 
will be able to open her office. The problem 
started today and she has since restarted her 
computer to no effect. She gets "server not 
found" errors when trying to access websites and 
is unable to access her email as well using 
communication express through Firefox.
