I happened upon Don this afternoon.  If the MS 
Office suite is not free he doesn't have any 
money.  Chris is having trouble transferring a 
word file from his Millineum machine to the 
loaner.  It won't open the file.  He is using a 
usb jump drive to transfer the file.  He has not 
tried the file on any other machine.  Chris came 
in while we were talking and I asked him to try 
different things tonight before he brought in 
the machine.

He is having trouble with the Open office 
suite.  He says that it is not compatible with 
office 97??? I have a call into Don to see what 
his expectations are.  I told Chris to bring the 
machine in as soon as he could and that we would 
call him when it was done.  Guess that means I 
need his phone number!  Dang IT!

Chris came in.  It is a desktop.  It is the 
dektop he brought in previously from Don 
Boderman's area.  He says that we kept the power 
cord the last time he brought it in.
