You asked U.C.S to fix LabScribe the software for
the biology class.

I fixed some permissions and I reinstalled the
program. This resolved
the issue.

The fix didn't take:  Computers need to write to 
C: drive, and the system is balking when the 
application tries to write to the C: drive.  When 
the program is loaded, it hangs up.  Prof. 
LeMaster's admin access doesn't seem to be 
working.  Will be around from 3:20 to 5pm.  Has 
Lab at 1pm tomorrow.  He is available 8-9 and 10-
12N on Wednesday(tomorrow).

Hello,

You asked U.C.S to fix machines that were not
working in the local network.

I took the machine ran a hardware check which passed.

I repaired the windows installation. This resolved
the issue.

called left a vm, informing him that the hardware
passed and we are attempting to repair the
installation and that should it fail we will have
to re image the machine, which will take more
time, referred the Service Request Desk telephone
number for any comments or questions.

the machine in question failed to have explorer
start either at startup in safe mode or normal.

The jack they had the cat5 cable connected to was
either dead of filtered. so they were not able to
log on the network since wireless have failed.

support, the email to classroom support 
(stuwork@wou.edu) bounced. Noted in HEAL.

at the login to MASH screen, the computer 
freezes.  Ideally they (bio dept) would like to 
have the computers on just the bio network.  in 
office till 7:45, then class (for this ticket) at 
8:00am.
