I'm going to go in and take these two pieces of
software off of the update list so he doesn't get
bugged by it. They don't seem to actually need the
updates.

Did the install and it went fine except it wanted
to update two pieces of software that weren't
directly related to Final Cut Express. 

It wanted disks for these two programs and I
couldn't find any sort of install files on the
network. I believe they may be included in the Mac
OS or something of that nature. I'm putting this
on hold so I can ask Joe about it before I close
the ticket.

For the time being the issue is resolved as Final
Cut Express has been installed and is working.

Because I am dumb I was trying to connect to
smb://cougar/install$ instead of installs$ and
couldn't figure out why it wouldn't connect.

Someone else needs to go over and take care of
this while he's around today. He's already left
for class now.
