****This is an email****

Kathy,

I talked to Joe and he said that the problem is
most likely caused by a glitch in the HP printer
driver. As such there's nothing we can really do
to fix the problem in the long term. If it becomes
a very frequently occuring issues we can try to
take some steps but from the way you described it
earlier today it sounds like a driver issue. If
the issue does start occuring with increased
frequency please call in a new helpdesk ticket. If
you have any questions about this task you can
call us at 88925 or email us at ucshelpdesk@wou.edu

Talked to Joe. This is most likely an issue with
the HP driver and as such there isn't anything we
can do unless HP releases a new driver update. I'm
going to email Kathy and let her know. Then close
the ticket.

Called and left a vm asking if there were any
other printers exhibiting this behavior or if it
is just the one.

In the past (back when I worked at the library)
there was a probem with students trying to print
poewrpoint or pdf files directly from the web that
would cause this problem.

This was when they printed directly from the web
rather than downloading and saving the file first,
then printing from the computer.

I'm not sure if this is still an issue or not
though. Assigning ticket to Joe in case he knows.
