She called in saying she was having trouble with
IM track on this machine. I'm going to assume that
this means it's on the network. Finally letting
this ticket die.

find out if telecom has taken care of this and if
it's working.

Contacted Telecom and they're going to check the
jack and make sure it's working. They'll let us know.

Went over. The LAN port on the back of the machine
isn't showing any activity lights. I tried with a
known good network cable and still had the same
problem.

Tomorrow I'll take a thin client over there and
see if I can get that working to make sure it's
not the machine.

Day's almost over so I went ahead and left another
vm asking for a time to come by.

i'm wondering if this is a date/time issue. Make
sure those are correct before doing further
troubleshooting. If the clock's more than 5
minutes off from server time MASH won't
authenticate the connection.

get a message saying 'Mash not available'. This 
computer is a recent arrival.
