It was an automated restart because of a windows
update. I'm checking for more updates and then
refreezing.

User called back. As far as she knows, it was
spontaneous and the student did not initiate the
restart.

I called and left a message requesting info on if
the student initiated the shutdown or if the
machine did it spontaneously.

I also mentioned that if the machine has
Deepfreeze (which I'm assuming it does.) the file
is not retrievable.

A student was working on the machine when the
message "this computer will reboot in 60 sec."
popped up. The student tried to save her work but
the machine rebooted (in about 10 sec.). Janeanne
would like to know if more time can be given for
the user to save their work and if the student's
doc. is really gone (she did not save prier to
the reboot).
