talked to her. She was concerned about a few 
things. I told her that the HP error should not 
cause a problem with printing and that she should 
call us back if it does.  She also stated that 
they have noticed that some of the toner 
cartridges that have been refilled often have a 
leak.  I am closing this and flagging it under 
Joan so that I can ask her about the leaking 
cartridges to see if that is something we need to 
bring up to the refilling company.

The ink is currently not smearing at all.

However, evidently the real problem they're having
is that the printer tells them that they've
installed a "non-HP product" whenever they install
toner regardless of if it's HP or not. They're not
sure what to do to make it work when this happens.
