I defragged her machine and disabled the power
settings for her HD.

The computer is still being really slow. She was 
told to call back if it was still giving her 
problems. She said there is basically no change.

The problem is the hard drive. It seems to have
trouble coming back up to speed after it slows
down after not being used. I did all the usual:
checked virtual memory, ran ccleaner, looked at
the defrag(not a problem), she has enough
memory... All of those things are perfect and you
can definitely hear the hard drive spinning up and
down. I also ran dell diag and the hd passed. 

I told her to call us again if it gets noticeably
worse but right now it doesn't really warrant
replacement even though it is definitely slow when
starting to access the Hard Drive.

Machine takes a long time to load up software. 
Mainly with WORD documents. Her machine seems to 
be working overtime when opening/printing these 
documents which are small. 

Is available M-F 8:00am-5:00pm
