The problem is not sending emails - it is that the
people she sends them to sometimes do not receive
the emails until a half hour later, which is too
long for her. The problem is sporadic, and is most
noticeable when she will send out an email to many
people and receiver1 gets the email in 2 minutes
while receiverb does not get the email for 30. 

I installed the latest Microsoft Outlook update
and explained to Lisa that sometimes emails do
take a longtime and that is unavoidable - but that
the update could help.

She said this is doing the same thing again. It 
took about a half hour to send a couple emails 
this morning.

She said she hasn't had any actual problems, it
was just taking a long time when she sent emails.
She said she would call back if it continued but
didn't want me to come over see if i could help.
