Scanner is a local scanner connected through USB
device. It is an ALL IN ONE DELL
Scanner/coppier/printer/fax. The fax and printer
settings are working just fine.

When you attempt to scan an error comes up that
says:

Scan was not successful.
Make sure the all in one is powered on.
reconnect the usb cable.
restart your computer.

None of these troubleshooting steps has worked.
Dell's troubleshooting software seems to assume
that if you can print you can scan so no help
there. Going to continue to tinker with it.

Called her back. This is a local scanner that's
set up on her machine. Users log her off and log
on as themselves to use it. I'm going to go over
and see if I can replicate the error so we can
have a record of it.

Jeanne called back about the scanner. The
department can only use the scanner from her
desktop.

Called and left a message asking where exactly the
laptop is located, if it is Kimberly Jensen's or
the entire Social Studies department's, and to
please let us know when we can come by to look at it.

The scanner is not working. It would not scan.
Error message was given to Kimberly Jensen who
was the person trying to scan.

Kimberly Jense is not in the office to get what
the error message said.

They just moved over on June 19th and believe it
might have something to do with the move.
