Lori,

I've taken some steps to try to fix the problem
with Acrobat Pro locking up the machine. I
uninstalled Norton Antivirus (shouldn't still have
been on there as we've moved to Sophos) and ran
some registry cleaning software. I also
uninstalled Yahoo Toolbar as that browser addon
has given us numerous problems in the past and
tends to come bundled with spyware.

Acrobat itself had 6 separate updates available
for it. I ran all of those and hopefully that will
take care of the issue you've been having. If the
issue has been resolved (or if it hasn't) please
let us know so we can close the ticket or continue
troubleshooting.

Going to email Lori and let her know what I did to
the machine. If the machine is working (or not)
she should let us know so we can either close the
ticket or work on this further.

Uninstalled Yahoo Toolbar and Norton Antivirus
(Still on there!). Acrobat Pro was in need of
several updates as well. Windows updates were
fine. Ran CCleaner. Also ran CCleaner after
Acrobat was updated. Several hundred issues were
found and fixed.

Heading over to do basic troubleshooting on this
box. This has happened before but we found a fix.
They are up for GFA soon so maybe this should be
the first machine we take care of.

When he is working in Adobe Professional is the 
only time that it will freeze. They use this 
computer a lot and need this NOT to happen. He 
has to do a hard shut down to get the computer 
working, but then it will just freeze again.
