Called Nancy.  I explained that making one
thinclient usable for this highly-secure app would
allow all of them (as I understand it).  She told
me she'd rather have the security than the access,
but was going to check.

I haven't heard from her in over 3 days, so
assuming she's gonna stick with security and not
use that particular app on the thins.

Michael,

Nancy Minnick called in this help desk ticket
today saying they were unable to open up their
case report app. I went over and checked it out
and the app works perfectly fine from all the pcs
in the office, but their thin client (which is
evidently the computer of choice for this app)
isn't working.

All the information I gathered is in the ticket
itself (21912). Joe mentioned that if there are IP
restrictions on the app it may be a problem
because the terminal servers are no longer in the
127 range but are now on the 112 vlan.

I've assigned the ticket to you so you can make
sure everything's ok with the app or fix it as
necessary. If everything checks out but she still
has the problem feel free to reassign it to UCS Tech.

She called us back saying that the problem is 
still present even though she tried a different 
Terminal Server.

Nancy is going to try logging into another
Terminal Server and seeing what happens. I'm
fairly certain that the problem will persist on
any terminal server, but wanted to double check.
She's going to call the helpdesk and let them know
how it goes.

Their case report app lives at:

To get to this page requires a network login.

That page then has another login screen. After
entering their login in the screen displays:

403 Unauthorized
Proper authorization is required for this area.

The login works fine on PCs in the office there
are no problems. Logging in from thin client
20060334[Edit Inv] (MAC: 00144F4883D1, IP: 140.211.117.211)
gives the 403 error. They don't have any other
thin clients in the office to test with.

They are logging onto TS6.
