Dr. Lange,

An email notification is sent automatically when a
task is closed. Tasks can be reopened or a tech
can email you individually, which was possibly the
case in the past.

(from Marjory)
It's been resolved--you do know I never received
any email notification for any of the three times
I reported the problem? I don't care--anything
that shrinks my email is fine--but I thought it
was your policy. Anyway, imap-not. works.

Hi Dr. Lange,

I understand that you were having an issue with an
email indicator/IMap notification, but Jonathan
Guillen walked you through changing your password
over the phone. The task is still open on our end.
So, I was wondering if you need more assistance
with this issue or if Jonathan's help solved the
problem you were having.

Thank you,

Audrey Sundkvist

User called back on this. She was frustrated
because she didn't get a "confirmation email"
that this request was put through. I walked her
through changing the password in the IMap notify
icon and it works fine.

She said that she never recieved an email for
this request. She also said she knows how to use
the IMAP Notify, and that when she spoke to
Cristian he seemed to think that she didn't know
how.

The issue is that she has the icon but the icon
is not functioning.
She wants the icon to function or be removed.

Clicked on show status (run email client)
"Error recieved authentication failed."

Using Explorer. Before her default was firefox
(last year). Likes explorer best, doesn't want to
have to change her default browser to fix the
problem.

IMAP Notify did work during the summer. Stopped
working mid-August.

She was flustered and frustrated.

It is the first time that she has used the
software and does not know how to use it/read it.
Pretty much it sounded like she did not know why
the gray mailbox spins and then once she checks
her mail (but does not open the new mail) it goes
back to the letter.

She will be in and out. She said to leave her a
voicemail.
