They bombarded me when I got there. Everyone
wanted sleep mode turned off... So I helped them out.

Sounds like her computer is going to sleep (not just screen saver).  
Winchester is a server.  I believe they run appts Pro off of that box.  
If she's dropping connectivity due to sleep, then the program is 
likely complaining about that.  Check power Settings.

After hitting cltr-alt-del to unsusupend the 
computer, she recieves a 'Winchester Error' 
message in a dialog box and has to restart the 
computer.
