her printer was never fixed. The printer in
OFFICE of Univ Residences was fixed, but not hers
in HER CUBICLE (Same location, different specific
spot in the office.)

Her printer is a Dell printer. THe WOU number
listed above is correct.

I'm reopening task.

you did. What happened was, that Brad called Dell
and he found out that he can replace Dell printer
parts with the Premier plan.... next day
delivery... FREE of charge. There was one printer
that Myron thought it was the fuser and they have
replaced the whole printer. So talk to Brad or
Myron. They might be able to fill you in there.

Sorry, they should have kept you in the loop.

I thought I ordered a printer part and recorded
the number as 3114, but don't see it on my list of
purchase requests. Would you let me know if that
purchase request is mine?

The new transfer roller made the ink darker, but
the left side is still very light. The imaging
drum looks lighter on that side too.

The pages do print very faintly even when you
adjust the print settings as dark as they'll go.
It is not the cartage, because they print is very
dark before it hits the fuser. There is a
possibility that the roller between the cartage
and the fuser needs replaced. It isn't supposed to
be touched and I did before knowing that. I'll
order the new roller and try that first.

Audrey-

The printer does work now without jamming, but the
print is very light. I changed the toner
cartridge and it is still light.

Hi Barbara,

I replaced the other rollers in your printer. It
still sounds very laborious when it prints, but it
does print without jamming! I printed 5 pages
without any hitches. Please use the printer and
let me know how it works for you.

Thank you,

I remembered, and the printer printed 5 pages
fine. It has a bit of a labored sound to it, but
it doesn't jam. The rollers I replaced were very
worn out!

Hi Barbara,

I wanted to give you an update about that roller
your printer needs. The part is very inexpensive,
even less than shipping, so the person who does
ordering is waiting until we need more parts from
that vendor. I told her that this would be okay
since there is a shared printer near you and your
printer can handle small jobs. If you need this
rushed please let me know. I will keep you
informed about the order as I receive information
from the person who does ordering.

The UCS extension is 88925 and your service
request number is 22847 if you need to call or you
can just reply to this email. Thank you for your
patience,

Subject: Re: FW: part

Yes. The part is for someone's desktop printer,
while there is a network printer less than 8 feet
away. And she can print 1-3 page documents on it
still without a problem. The part is needed, but
can wait a little bit.

She called and wanted to speak with Audry, Audry
was not in. Now the printer is printing lightly.
She tried shaking toner and she thinks the toner
is not why jobs come out looking light. She knows
the task is awaiting parts, she says that this is
another issue. "The printer is not behaving for
her." She was hoping Audry would get back to her.

She is in the office of the Univeristy Residences
in VH. There is no room number, it is just a big
office. She has tried to get the jams out, but
she is tired of it always doing that. She will be
in till 3:30p today and all day tomorrow.
