I got it to update FF.  I ran repair permissions.
 Looks good ATM.

He is on a Mac. Since yesterday the window has 
been up. He could not get it to close or minimize 
and so he shut down and left for the day. When he 
booted up this morning the same FF window was up 
on monitor. 

There is no red "close window" button showing on 
top left of window.

All other apps are running fine. 

When he tries IE it works.
 
He does not have Safari.

Times:
mtg at noon. Busy till three. Can leave office 
open for tech.
