powerpoint files to the printer and failed to
choke it, so I am happy with your diagnosis and

This is that email I mentioned. I worked on your
computer with the intention of fixing the printer
issue you had experienced when printing large
documents. Let me know if you have any problems

Robin said that the issue started when the printer
was down for a few days (she said she was told not
to print). When it was back she got these issue.
She says it hasn't happened for a few weeks now.
The printer is "socialscience.wou.edu" and has an
external jetdirect.

I gave her a new profile, thinking that her old
profile was keepin some info for the print driver
that was out dated or incorrect. Robin is going to
contact me if the issue happens again, later in
the week, when she prints some larger documents.

If you take this task: it appears that "Birdie"
isn't on radar so print a config sheet for it and
give to Joe or Brad. 

This is most likely a driver problem, so make sure
that the pc is connected to the main printer
through radar so that the drivers are guaranteed
to be correct.

Hi,
Please come and look at my computer in MA 202, 
#20030712[Edit Inv].  When I send a job to the printer it 
takes forever, sometimes prints a few pages, or a 
few hundred, and sometimes gives me the 
message "this job failed to print" after about 5 
minutes.  It doesn't matter whether I send to the 
main social science printer or to "birdie"  
Yesterday I got two jobs in which the printer 
tried to print a 50 page file and it printed 1, 1 
& 2, 1 & 2 & 3, 1, 1, 1 & 2, 1 & 2 & 3 & 4, etc.  
At other times, especially with pdfs, it prints 
parts of pages, and then fails.  When I go to the 
library and open the same file on my H drive, it 
prints just fine.  So I think the problem is my 
computer, not the files or printers.  But, please 
note that this problem started just after our 
main Social Science printer was off-line & being 
fixed a couple of days ago.
 
I hope this is enough to help you figure out 
what's wrong.
