Hello,

We restarted the print services again and very
computer having an issue can now print. Scott was
able to print from his own machine and I printed
from Linda and Brian's machines. If any of you
continue to have problems with printing let me
know. I am going to close the task, but if it
needs to be reopened our extension is 88925 and
the service request number for this issue is 23269.

Brad restarted the print service earlier today.
After a restart he was able to print to it.

Summary of this task so far:

Linda Root in ITC 111 cannot print to CP-WCPC on
radar since the printer server restarts Friday
11/15. She was not there to trouble shoot, so I
helped out Lance who was having the same issue.
Others in 111 could print at the time. A new
profile fixed Lance's problem. A new profile did
not fix Linda's. Apparantly two other people,
Brian Kauffman and Scott Tighe in ITC 101 also
cannot print to CP-WCPC. Is it possible to
reinstall/update this printer's driver on radar?

I just found out yesterday that there are two more
computers which do not have access to the printer
in question.
They are located in Rm. 111 and that is their main
printer.

I don't know if you need to do a new work order or
attach it to this one.

Linda is having the same problem as Lance but a
fresh profile did not fix the problem.

Hi Linda,

I am checking to verify that you can print to the
CP-WCPC printer on radar. As of last Tuesday
everyone that was in the office could print to it.
Please let me know that you can as well, or that
you are still experiencing problems.

Lance has a new profile and the printer works. I
am going to close (but flag) this task since
everyone else can print. I will keep it flagged
and check it though until I hear back from Linda
specifically.

Lance in that department has a profile based
problem printing to the same printer.

Hi Linda,

Due to some work being performed with the printer
services for the network your department
unexpectedly experienced this error. The printer
should function now. If you still have problems
with the printer email me back or call extension
88925 and reference service request 23269.

Linda is not in. However, everyone can print to
that printer today. Friday Brad and Joe were
restarting the printer service since they were in
TRI Eugene. That was probably the issue.

The printer is located in room IT 111. CP-WCPC on 
Radar.

When anyone tries to send any type of document to 
it.

error message:
Before you can print you need to select a 
printer. If you need to install a printer either 
double click add printer icon or click find 
printer button.

She is available all day today.
