Looks like the SCSI card must be used.  Although
the plugs are the same, the wiring is different. 
I had to custom fabricate an expansion slot
bracket to mount onto the card so it would fit
into the new Optiplex 745, which works great!

The SCSI card is equipped with what seems to be a
parallel port.  Since this is the case, I might be
able to bypass the SCSI card and use the onboard
parallel port on the motherboard.  I called and
left a VM with Camila asking if this is a viable
option.

The scanner is the old Ariel scanner.  The SCSI
card is in the old Ariel machine, which is under
my desk at UCS.  The SCSI card is to be installed
into the new GFA Archives Workroom Station.  The
scanner is to be hooked up to that machine as well.

She called back and said 20020710[Edit Inv] is the correct 
computer number, meaning 20020674[Edit Inv] is NOT.

The first number is the computer, and the other 
WOU# is the computer loacted in the archive 
locked room (20020674). Someone should call her 
first so they have the room unlocked for you. You 
can also call Lori Davidson at 88884 if Camila is 
not in.

Need to change the cards in computers and 
exchange scanners.
The one that it is going into is 20020700[Edit Inv].
Both scanners are in the Library just need to 
pull the cards out of the computers
