I stopped by.  Whatever John did to crash FireFox,
will also crash Outlook when he tries to open an
attachment. Restarted his machine, reinstalled
Firefox, and everything works fine.  Of course, I
cannot troubleshoot the FireFox issue, since I
cannot replicate it. I told him to call us back so
that we can open that task again if the problem
reoccurs. It is likely that the problem with arise
again.

She called back and said that the problem still 
exists.

He gets federal grants and she asked me to set 
this as a high priority.

John called. Brian told me to expect his call as 
they were playing phone tag.  Nobody answered 
skype or tech phone line. He now awaits return 
call. If you can't reach him in his office then 
he is in Nancy's office (8-8808)

Nancy Ganson, his assistant called this in. 

John is unable to open any attachments whatsoever 
in from his wou email account.

They are "federal docs" but when I questioned 
further, it sounds like it is any type of 
attacment (.doc, .xls, etc.). They merely happen 
to contain federal information. It is not 
specific to email orgin- no matter who is sending 
emails he is unable to open attachments.
