Student Access is an app.
It requires read/write to the folder containing
the database as well as the install directory. I
created a local user group called
StudentAccessUsers and added in the students. Then
I applied Full Control right to the local Student
Access folder (C:\Program Files\Student Access).

The program is Student Access. It is basically
Microsoft Access but tweaked. They run it off the
I: Drive. I was thinking that it said it was read
only because someone else was using it at the same
time. Sheree said that they always have multiple
people using the file at the same time. It may be
that Sonia was logged onto 2 computers at the same
time and because it was the same account, it could
have created a read-only copy for the 2nd one, but
that's a stretch!
