Audrey,
It seems to have resolved itself.  It no longer
attaches in the text of the message and attaches
in the appropriate location (I just tried).  Let's
pend this and see if it recurs later on.  Thank you.

I understand you're having some issues with
Outlook attachments. I would like to setup a time
to meet with you. My work schedule is Monday,
Wednesday, and Friday 8am to 3:30pm. Please let me
know if there is a time within that range that
would be convenient for you to meet with me on
your Outlook problem. If those days/times do not
work for you at all please let me know so that I
can arrange for a different tech to work with you.

-outlook converts his attachements from to .jpeg 
or .doc into .dat files. "Sent" mail shows 
attachments in the original format intended 
format.

-sent pictures, sent docs to different people
both campus email recievers and they cannot open 
his attachments.

Yesterday he had these problems and thought it 
was isolated. Today still has issue, so problem 
since yesterday.
