Peter,

This is just a follow up email to let you know
that I have installed Microcase and set up a
SOC328 folder on the K:\ drive. I have added all
of the students currently registered for your
SOC328 class in Banner.

The SOC328 folder has full access for you but
read-only for your students. There is also a
hand-in folder that allows students to drop in
files but not look at the contents of the folder.

I have also added a shortcut to the Start menu on
all of the terminal servers for Microcase that
will only work for authorized students.

If there additional students that need access let
me know their V#'s and I will add them.

He will be in his office until right before his 
11a class.

I left Peter a message letting him know that the
V: drive is no longer used due to abuse and
security issues, and that we are looking for a
solution. I said we'd let him know as soon as we
have the software setup for him to use again.

He says that he had this software available to 
students in 2005 in the V: Drive -
programs/labs/courses/sociology/328

He needs his students available to access it on 
the network. He had the license for it in 2005 
when it was available on the V drive he says.
