Hi Tom,

I visited you last week to try setting up encrypted email 
messages for you. Since you're using a thinclient computer 
Outlook is not available to you. The Mozilla version called 
Thunderbird is, and can send encrypted emails, but requires 
other software to do the actual encryption. This means that 
sending encrypted email is not available to you. As you'd 
mention Travis explaining, sending encrypted emails actual is 
not very secure, because the encryption info is sent with the 
email. Encryption only tells you that the email was intercepted 
and viewed along the way, it doesn't necessarily secure the 
information.

Pretty sure it's a banner issue. I gave the info
to Brian Wendler.

He uses a Thin Client and Outlook isn't on the TS.
I will look into doing this with Thunderbird. He
typically uses the webbased email. I told him that
there is not encryption for that.

After 1:30

Tom called and said that he needs a tech to come 
help him deal with sending an encrypted email. He 
will be in his office today from 2:00 to 5:00pm.
