This laptop was a mess. Roxio kept popping up
every time a disk was inserted, asking to
register. When trying to go through the
registration process, it would error out. I ended
up removing Roxio entirely and installing
CdBurnerXPpro. I had to go as far as removing
registry entries from Roxio to get the
registration to go away. Next there was an error
window that infinitely reappeared. After some
research I found that there was a missing file for
the wireless adapter. A reinstall of the wireless
driver solved the problem. I also installed
K-lite codec pack. The laptop is good to go.

Whenever they put a DVD in the drive, Roxio
software pops up and asks the user to activate a
roxio product.

They cannot watch any dvd's, he has tried
different discs and still roxio pops up. they
dont know how to get rid of it.
