Thanks for the efforts.

I think I need to just suck it up and reconstruct
the document.  I just did too much moving and
deleting that day to really be sure of anything.

Good lesson for me - no trash bin  on the network
drives.

he had also changed the file from .doc to html, 
and .pdf which he also deleted.

They were in his
