This is a special case.  He brought back the
laptop for the weekend, but he still resides in
southern Oregon. He did not have the USB wireless
Ethernet adapter with him, so I went ahead and
gave the local account he was using admin privs.
He will essentially have the laptop all term and
possibly for the summer, so this option seemed to
be the best.  I let him know, though, that if he
messes anything up, we cannot support data
recovery, etc.

I told him we cannot give him admin privledges
because we cannot give him our admin account!  He
said he will be back in a couple weeks and can
take care of it then.

He called, but there were no techs available.

He said that he works until 3:30pm, and it takes 
him about 30 mins to get home. So he often calls 
after 4pm.

Called again, will be at work Monday 8- 3:30 then 
has a forty minute drive home. Please call, he 
will anwser if he is able to. He said he will try 
and call back Monday around 3:30.

AJ called and said we were expecting a call from 
him. He said he was told any tech could assist 
him. He said he can be reached tonight or all day

(Info from Don) The student needs to install a wireless 
connection program and cannot. SEP does issue a local login for 
students who check out these machines:

User name: student
Password: Class@Home

I called and left AJ a message asking for the best time to call 
him.

A student has been issued a service labtop and is 
currently using while maintaining an internship 
in southern oregon. When he tries to use it and 
administrator rights dialog box comes up, and 
usually the faculty will bring the labtop over 
for the student but because he is down in s. 
oregon he needs a walk thru. You call the
