i refreshed the group policy, his drives are all 
active. two of them say 'dissconnected' before 
the drive name but they are still accessable. 
once he restarts his computer the names on the 
drives should return to normal

When the network went down this morning he shut 
his machine off. 

When the network came back, he logged in but he 
doesn't have any drives

He has restarted many many times he says but 
still no drives are available to him: I/P/H/etc..

He will be available until noon today
He will not be back this afternoon

Call him tomorrow
