Hi Loren,

I have added your user account to the local
administrator's and remote desktop users group on
the computer you gave us the WOU # for.

You need to know the address of the computer, and
the easiest way to do that is go to start, run,
and type: cmd and click OK or hit enter on the
keyboard. You'll get a command window. Type
ipfconfig /all and hit enter on the keyboard from
the command prompt in the command window.

Look for your IP address, it will start with
140.211.X.Y where X is the subnet your computer is
on, and Y is the host address.

From any machine running Windows XP or Vista Home
Premium or better, go to Start, Run, and type:
mstsc.exe and click OK or hit enter on the keyboard.

Type the IP address you found for your system at
work/office in the field labeled computer. Click
Connect.

You'll get a 2-line authentication window after
that, and you need to type MASH\vickeryl in the
first line and your normal network password in the
2nd and click the Connect button.

It should connect you to the system in your office.

Alternatively, you can also connect to ts.wou.edu
and use the terminal servers to run applications
and access your files using the remote desktop
connection.

If you need further assistance, please contact me.
