At first I thought her computer was in bad shape.
 Right at the CTRL-ALT-DEL screen the machine
appeared to be frozen.  I pulled the mouse and
keyboard ps2 plugs and reseated them.  This fixed
things.

She has tried two other computers in her , and 
was able to login but the internet was working

Yesterday it froze in the afternoon so she just 
shut it down for the day, when she tried to 
restart it today is froze and the first ctrl + 
alt + delete screen
