Talked to Diane, she said this isn't happening
anymore. The 10... IP are generic "I can't see the
internet" IPs for a Mac, so she did not have
internet connection when she called originally and
that was causing the problem. Macs will continue
to check for internet activity and self resolve
this sort of issue.

She called back saying she is getting the pop up 
box again. opening up the task.

she is using safari to check her wou email and 
says that she is getting a window that pops up 
everytime she is checking her email. 
it reads:

this address is in use by: blah blah blah (her 
words says its a long string of numbers)
dhcp server 10.211.1.5

she can click OK on the box, it stops and just 
pops back up again shortly.

is the box she gets everytime she goes to 
compose/reply/or forward anything.

I had her log off her email and now everything 
seems to be working fine.
