I fixed his profile issue today and everything
seem to be working properly for him.

looked at all the profiles on his computer and his
profile seemed to in tact. I did a gpupdate
restarted his computer. I told his that I would
call him tomorrow to see if this was still an
issue and I would trouble shoot this problem
further.

Just this morning he encountered this problem. He 
has restarted his machine several times. 

The desktop background is the standard grassy 
hillside.

None of his desktop icons are available. All of 
his drives are still available.

He will be available all day at his office.
