I think he wants us to buy him one but I 
couldn't do that quickly even if he had  the 
funds becuase Joanie is gone,  So he is trying 
to meet a deadline and can't turn it over to us 
for more then a day so I told him he could see 
if the Apple Store in Salem would get him a 
replacement without turning over the laptop so 
he wouldn't be with out it.  He is going to try 
that tomorrow morning and get back with me as to 
how he wants to proceed.  This will be on hold 
in the mean time

This laptop is under warranty until Sept 18th, 
2008 so we need to check into seeing about 
replacing the power supply ASAP it is a 65W 
power adapter with cable management system with 
model#A1021

Thinks he has identified the issue: needs new 
power cord. Small wire coming out of power 
transformer is cramped. He just wants to order a 
new one. I told him he should use purchase 
request, he said he was unsure what fund it 
should come out of since it is a "repair."

He called and said that the battery drained and 
the powercord light is showing green when 
connected to his powerbook, but it should be on 
amber saying its charging.

It seems that it wont take a charge.

He is available anytime as long as they call him.
