I got her printer connected locally with a TCP/IP
port.

She called. Said what Audry told her to do didn't 
work. I let Tina know Audry would be by in a few 
minutes.

The W# for her replacement machine was W#20040134

The Database is "Study Abroad Student Database"
and it's stored on Winchester.

She needs Filemaker 7.0 and IMAP Notify

Task reassigned to Audrey Sundkvist.

She has called back again, changing it to high 
priority

Her computer has completely locked out, while she 
was using it.  She reports that it blinked this 
morning right after she turned it on, and has 
done it 2-10 times per hour, every hour.  She has 
a meeting at 2:30 and would like someone to look 
at it while its locked out.

Please note that she is off campus thursday and 
friday. Michele Price (8-8493) can let tech in 
office if Tina is not around. She gives 
permission for tech to take machine or monitor-- 
anything they need.

I am bringing her monitor W#20040485.

According to inventory she has a 17" flat screen.
This could be a power issue with the monitor or a
video card issue.

My computer has been doing something rather 
strange lately. I will be working and the screen 
with blink to totally black - sometimes it stays 
that way only for a few seconds and comes back to 
where I was but more often than not lately, it 
goes to black and stays that way and nothing I do 
will bring it back to life. Yesterday I ended up 
having to push the button on the CPU to turn the 
computer off and then turning it back on again.It 
has done this in every program that I work with - 
Banner, Excel, Word Processing, 
FileMaker.....etc.  It is starting to do that 
more frequently each day. So, I either have a 
little "ghost" inside my computer who is making 
me crazy, or there is something in that little 
computer brain that needs your expertise. Can you 
help me please?
