Went into settings and connected it to the right
ip address. Now it scans and everything works.

Machine is located in Cottage 203. The Scanner is 
in the same room and is connected to that 
machine, but everytime they try to load it up

error: cannot properly communicate with the 
scanner.

Someone will be available all day.
