 Hi Adam

Thus far I have only found the following minor
issues

1. I had numerous custom wallpapers (.bmp) in my
windows directory. Did they get backed up?
2. On reboot, the following mapped drives are lost
         \\cougar\My Documents
         \\sundown\projectsalute$
         \\tr3\c$
3. I would like my registry to keep IE favorites
as %USERPROFILE%\Favorites, rather than
\\cougar...\woufavs - (reboot) keeps changing it.
4. The following error is displayed on startup

I am in the office today, but will be out
tomorrow.

Hi Adam - when configuring my desktop, please make
sure these network connections are mapped.

TRI Webserver drives
tr3 Cdrive
tr3 Ddrive

Project websites folders on WOU webserver
$ncdb [nationaldb.org]
$nfadb [nfadb.org]
$projectsalute [projectsalute.net]

Also, I recall having problems with mapping when
inserting a usb memory stick when I first received
this machine. It conflicted with the card slots
and we had to reconfigure how they were mapped. If
you could test that by inserting a memory stick
into each of the front usb ports...please. If you
have any questions, I can be reached today at
503.881.6451.

Applications for which I am licensed in addition
to the standard MS software

Adobe Suite
    Acrobat Professional
    Creative Suite 2
      Photoshop CS2
      Illustrator CS2
      InDesign CS2
CorelDraw X3 Suite (your shop keeps the install cd
for this app)
Macromedia Dreamweaver suite
MovieMaker (I think your shop installed this one
when I got this machine)

I have the install CDs for my other apps (sound
editing, etc.)
Also, could you set my profile so that the
registry always has IE using

%USERSPROFILE%\Favorites
rather than cougar\woufavs

lol... lot more than just taskbar issue. I brought
the PC back with me, he said this all happened
after windows update but whatever he did deleted
all of his network connections, and his proc idle
is 50% he also has a bunch of crap on his HD that
I will take off as soon as I can get it to
respond. Can't re-image as he doesn't have it
backed up on his H:

His machine is not connecting to the network, he
can log in.

He does not have a taskbar.
He said that after he did the windows updates is
when he experienced these problems.

His desktop icons are still there. He has no
Network drives

Since yesterday after the reboot of the windows
updates is when he could not see any drives.

He has tried to reboot several times, and has
tried to go into safe mode, but nothing works.

He is in Todd 244 and will be available all day.
