I went over and installed ccleaner, spybot. I ran
both and ccleaner found about 10 pages of stuff.
Spybot was still running when i left. He has
hundreds of icons on his desktop. Looks like he
saves everything to desktop instead of on the H
drive. Need to check back in to see if still
having problems

Sent Lance over, user indicated that he had
downloaded "everything" from the internet because
he thought he had a virus. NMAP showed a bit
torrent port open on his machine. Had Lance run
ccleaner, spybot, etc.

Suggested rebuilding PPTP connection, and the RDP
connection to the destination system, as there is
nothing wrong that I can find.

****This is an email****

The *'s at hops 6-8 indicate a problem somewhere
between us and them, it leaves our network at hop
1 and goes to our upstream provider.

There isn't a whole lot I can do to help with
this, as it is outside of our sphere of influence.

He is trying to remotely access a machine that is
owned by the oregon dept. of education.

He can log in for a few minutes, then it says
that he has been disconnected.

he can log into that specific machine from home
or anywhere else, just not from campus.

He is a contract through ODE and has been able to
log in just fine 2 weeks ago, and he has been
loggin in for the last 2 years on a daily basis.

If he is not at his office, call his cell:
