I talked with Linda and told her to have the
laptop's user contact us so that we can sort out
getting him a warranty replacement battery.

I called back for the techs but they were all 
gone.

I left Linda a voice mail saying that the old
(20060395) machine is gone, but if her newer one
(20060396) is having problems.

SR 20947 documents the old laptop's demise (it's
gruesome) over a year ago. We do not have the
laptop anymore.

never mind the memory.  They have 2 512 SoDIMMS  
I doubt there are more than 2 slots

I guess this laptop was dropped and can't be 
fixed.  Now the other similar laptop of theirs 
needs a new battery.  They would like the battery 
out of the dead machine.  While we are at it 
maybe check out the memory too?
