Dear Help Desk,
I am tearing my hair out with my computer in 
ED157.  It started misbehaving last week when it 
would take many attempts to sign on.  I worked 
from home on Monday.  On Tuesday it did not work 
at all until magically 3 minutes before I had to 
go home at 5:10PM.  I was out in the schools most 
of yesterday, but the couple of times I went in 
my office it would not work again  (same problem--
either blue blank screen,  a locked screen with a 
clock, or a flashing screen)--yet I had no time 
to re-contact you.  The problem may be 
intermittent, but every time I need my computer I 
can't sign on at all and am wasting huge amounts 
of time.  I am sending this email from home.  I 
am teaching from 8-11AM this morning, but will 
leave my office open:  tech angels welcome!
Please can someone do some extensive work to get 
to the crux of the problem.

I looked at her machine, it was a thin client and
i unplugged it and plugged it back in and i was
able log on with no problems.  I emailed her since
she was out of the office and asked her to call
back if there is any more problems.

Yesterday she logged in just fine.

Today, she has been having trouble logging in, 
and now that she is logged in, she does not have 
a start bar.

she has restarted her machine, and rebooted.

She is available if someone could give her a 
call, her door will be open this afternoon.
