 Hello,

Brian B told me the Smart Classroom station in NS
101 was shutting down randomly. I brought it to
the Tech Area and it did shutdown at random, but I
was able to see a warning message one of the
times. I installed SP3, ran Spybot S&D (just in
case), and fixed the registry with CCleaner. The
hotfix from Microsoft for the warning message
before random shutdowns was included in SP3. I
left the computer on since about 11am yesterday
and it was still on when I got in this morning, so
we'll call it a success.

I reinstalled it in NS 101, but you might check it
to make sure everything is plugged in the back and
it's working how you wanted.

This fix is/was already installed according with a
service pack (that's what it said when I tried
installing it as a fix).

The smart classroom instructor's station in NS101
randomly shuts down. It gives you a 60 second
timer and a warning to save your work. The warning is:

"This system is shutting down. Please save all
work in progress and log off. Any unsaved changes
will be lost. This shutdown was initiated by NT
Authority\system."
